My name is Nancy Terreault and I have a small, CFA registered, licensed
cattery located in Delray Beach, Florida just north of Boca Raton.
My goal is to produce healthy, quality Persians with wonderful temperaments that
conform to the breed standard as outlined by CFA for both the show ring and for loving
homes as pets. Working with such top lines as Rhamjoge, Kissables, Wishstar, Catillak,
Chantilylace, Brannaway and Pajean in my pedigrees allows me to produce cats with
exceptional personalities, big expressive eyes, smooth topheads with nice doming,
small well-placed ears, massive coats, and short, cobby bodies.
My babies are raised in a cageless environment with TLC to ensure that they will become
happy, loving, well-socialized individuals that will bring many years of love and joy into
their owner's life. Drs. Scott & Kristy Lund of Lund Animal Hospital in Boca Raton are
always happy to act as a reference so that you will be comfortable with my high standards.
My males and females are all DNA-tested PKD negative, and my cattery is free from any
issues such as FELV/FIV, fungus (ringworm), parasites, ear mites and fleas. I purposely
limit the number of litters each year in order to focus on the quality and health of my lines.
When purchasing a Moppetland kitten or cat, you are assured of getting a quality Persian
with a written one-year health guarantee against genetic defects. All kittens are delivered
freshly bathed and in perfect condition, and I am always here to answer any questions you
may have. A Moppetland Persian will forever be one of my babies; I care about them and
love to hear from their new families and see photos of them as they grow.
For those of you who have never owned a Persian, there is nothing quite like one in
full coat. However, maintaining this glorious mass of fur requires a fair bit of attention
and care. Daily grooming with a comb to keep it from matting is an absolute must, and your
cat will need to be bathed at least every four to six weeks. Because of the physiology of their
flat faces there is a certain amount of eye drainage; this is common but it too requires daily
cleaning to keep the faces from staining. If you follow the routine I recommend to all
buyers you will have no problems keeping your Persian looking beautiful.
