The following terms are used to describe the availability of the kittens on this page:

AVAILABLE: This kitten is available for placement. We reserve the right to refuse sale of any cat or kitten for any              
 reason. Some kittens are not available in certain CFA Regions due to previous agreements.

RESERVED: Someone has expressed serious interest in this kitten. They will be given first right of refusal in the                
event that another offer is made.

SOLD: This kitten is no longer available. A deposit has been received and the kitten will soon be leaving for its new home.

DEPOSITS: Deposits are non-refundable except for reasons defined in the agreed upon contract. We are aware              
 that circumstances change and it is not always possible to take possession of a cat or kitten as originally planned.           
 Deposits will be considered payment for boarding, grooming and lost opportunities for placement if the buyer                   
 changes their mind for any reason other than defined in the contract.
To those of you looking to buy your first Persian, I recommend you read about the standard of the breed
by going to http://www.cfa.org/breeds/standards/persian.pdf.  Beware of breeders who use terms such
as “Pashmina”, “Siberian” or “Angora” to describe their white Persians.  These are simply made-up
names used as a marketing tool and have nothing to do with Persians.  The same thing applies to the
term “Teacup”; these are usually nothing more than the runt of the litter and they may very well have
health issues because of their small size.  Someone who intentionally breeds for this trait is likely more
concerned with the extra money they think you will pay instead of breeding healthy animals.
I know that buying a kitten is a big commitment and that you may have to
discuss it with your husband, wife, other family members, etc., but please
understand that I cannot hold a kitten without a deposit.
